MOTIONFRAME STUD SYSTEM
Addresses both horizontal and vertical movement generated through building deformation and therefore enables perpendicular movement of the associated studs and plasterboard along the elevations span.
Our system comprises of component sets that are used in conjunction with the client’s preferred stud manufacturer and the adopted specification, including ‘I’ or ‘C’ profiles.
The MotionFrame Stud System includes universal fittings that accommodate variances in manufacturers stud profiles offering a one size fits all solution.
MotionFrame work in collaboration with the client, their architects and the preferred stud supplier to principally plan and execute a floor by floor design plan that mitigates the risk of inherent movement and its associated side effects.

MOTIONFRAME STUD SYSTEM - Tall Building Risk Analysis
Studs can be ordered from the relevant manufacturer to the correct dimensions with or without the MotionFrame components preassembled at the head and base, this removes onsite cutting and its associated margin for error, and delivers a set of stud lengths that through inclusion of the MotionFrame Stud System offers 75mm of tolerance and vertical damping.

Prior to installation and fixing, the onsite consignment of MotionFrame Studs can be protected from onsite damage through temporary mounting and curtaining through the systems quick and simple twist mount procedure.
Once installed, the traditional dry wall system is now a floating elevation with no inherent constraints, synchronised service penetrations that are locked to the total wall system and supressed frictional and torsional effects that mitigate audible creaking.

The MotionFrame Stud System has been developed to bring conventional wall design and installation in line with the latest and futures build technologies across all sectors.
STUD TWIST LOCK PROCESS
STUD CURTAINING
Once setting out has concluded and prior to the installation of the dry lining, all onsite stud consignments can be quickly and easily 'stood up' and temporarily mounted to avoid becoming either a trip hazzard or suffering onsite damage.

The twist mounted and now located studs can then be curtained to enable free access across the slab prior to the compartmentalising of the build.
Principally designed for ease of installation, the combatting of stud cut length errors and the wider remit of de risking internal wall construction, the systems capabilities now have a broader portfolio of USP’s that will help mitigate the industries current tall building challenges.
